If it can be walked, it can be biked.

One of the most beautiful biking routes leads out from the Reschen Pass through the Vinschgau Valley and on to Lake Garda.

The narrow, tarred cycle paths and the link roads, of enormous importance for rural transportation, lead through splendid fruit orchards and up to sights well-worth seeing, good restaurants and interesting viewpoints.

The Vinschgau is also a fabulous area for mountain bikers. Not without good reason is the Trans-Alp Challenge held in Naturns – in the immediate surroundings, there is a whole range of spectacular mountain bike tours.

ÖTZI BIKE ACADEMY NATURNS.

The Ötzi Bike Academy in Naturns is THE place to go for bikers and a popular gathering place for bike tours. Manager Klaus Nischler’s team aims to spread the joy of biking, and they offer a service package made by bikers for bikers. It includes a packed weekly programme from Monday to Saturday and a technique-training field, bike rental with a test centre and shop, and partner companies in and around Naturns.

The Ötzi Bike Academy team are all qualified bike guides who offer a series biking technique courses and a variety-packed tour programme which sees guides and bikers pedalling together from mid-March to mid-November. From guided tours for mountain bikes or racers to a leisurely e-bike or trekking bike tour, there’s something to please everybody and to suit every level of ability. There is no minimum number of participants, and tours go ahead even if only one person has signed up.
